Research Councils UK (RCUK) are calling for contributions of stories to highlight the benefits and impact of public engagement to institutions, researchers and their research.
The case studies will be included in a new publication to showcase excellent examples of public engagement as part of our third anniversary celebrations of the launch of Concordat for Engaging the Public with Research.
RCUK are looking for stories on skills development; career enhancement; higher profile for researchers and their institutions, forming new collaborations and partnerships; enjoyment and personal reward; increasing awareness of the value of research to UK society, and many other themes. They are particularly keen to have case studies that illustrate the principles of the Concordat.
Stories need to be sent to Claudine.Anderson@rcuk.ac.uk by Friday 16 August 2013. The new publication will be launched in December 2013.
Information on the ideas and types of stories they are looking for can be found in their latest blog
