The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) will shortly be introducing some changes to its requirements for grant applications. These changes relate to the page length for the case for support and other attachments. The case for support (including track record) for all future applications to BBSRC standard grant schemes will be contained within 8 pages rather than the variable page length that has been used previously. The changes will help to harmonise processes with other Research Councils and further details on the changes will be published soon.
In order to apply these changes, it is necessary to delay the launch of the new responsive mode grant round by one week.
The next round was due to go live on 10 January, with a closing date of the 24 April. However, this round will now go live on 17 January. The closing date for the round remains the same.
