Leverhulme Research Fellowships are open to experienced researchers, particularly those who are or have been prevented by routine duties from completing a programme of original research. There are no restrictions on academic discipline, and awards are not limited to those holding appointments in higher education.

The maximum value of a Fellowship is £45,000 which can be used to provide research expenses over and above normal living costs and/or provide a contribution towards reasonable replacement costs or loss of earnings. Fellowships are tenable for a duration between 3 and 24 months and must start between the 1st June 2013 and 1st May 2014.

Applications must be submitted online by the closing date of 4.00pm on 8 November 2012. Results are expected by the end of April 2013.
