The EME programme is inviting applications to its new NIHR commissioned workstream. Proposals are sought in the following fields:
• Retinal diseases
• Diagnosis or Assessment of Infection

NIHR i4i Call for Product Development Awards
The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Invention for Innovation (i4i) programme invites research proposals to develop innovative medical technologies that will address existing or emerging healthcare needs for the benefit of patients in the NHS. i4i supports collaborative research and development involving at least two partners from industry, academia or the NHS.
Applicants must provide evidence that their proposed medical product is viable (for example, evidence of initial bench research and a study of the commercial market). All applicants invited to submit a full proposal will be required to present a high level summary to the selection panel and take part in a question and answer session.
