Are you a new researcher looking for funding? Or do you have a great idea for new research?
The Bupa Foundations Philip-Poole Wilson Seed Corn fund is now open for applications.
If you are a healthcare professional involved in research or a university based researcher with an interest in health or social care with a great idea for new research, you can apply for a grant to help you develop your ideas. This could be to support pilot work, for example, or to bring together a team of people to work on a proposal.*
Projects should contribute to the Foundation’s aims and at least one of the following objectives:
- achieving sustained behaviour changes in relation to smoking, diet, physical activity and/or alcohol consumption
- facilitating wellbeing and preventing mental ill health
- improving patient decision-making through, for example, shared decision-making interventions
- improving the design of community health activities by using new technologies to cost-effectively organise and interpret health outcome data
Seed corn grants of up to £20,000 per proposal are available and weve made applying simple. All applications can now be submitted online at grants.bupafoundation.co.uk. All you need to do is register and complete a short form.
