If you didn’t manage to make it to the first the series of Research Roadshows it is now possible view two of the presentations which were recorded on the day.
The first of the presentations now available to view was given by Professor Paul Stewart, Pro Vice Chancellor of Research. Paul’s presentation, Simple Secrets to Research Funding and More!, contained some great advice on some really simple things you could do to raise your profile to dramatically increase your chances of funding success. I know quite a few of you who attended the session have used some of these tips, and for some of you the small amount of effort to put these into practice is already paying off which is great news!
The second recording covers the work Lisa Mooney-Smith has been implementing within AAD around mentoring and planning in order to support a healthy research culture, and again great results have already been seen from this work.
The two presentations are available to view on the Change blog, so you will need to login before you can watch them. Also available on the blog are the slides for the session led by Research and Enterprise, How to write a successful research funding proposal (an introduction.)
The next Research Roadshows take place on 2 May and 19 September.
