The Leadership Foundation and the Higher Education Academy are to commission a research project on Leading the Student Experience: Academics and Professional Services in Partnership. The aim of this research is to explore good examples of how academic and professional staff are working together in new ways to deliver the best possible student experience. Last May the Leadership Foundation launched a new network for PVCs Leading the Student Experience and at this inaugural event participants called for more support in the shape of overview data, case studies, and examples of ‘best practice’ to help them address both strategic leadership, change management and operational imperatives.
The total funding available for this research is £40,000. Tenders for the project will be welcome from Thursday 15 March 2012 and the deadline is Monday 2 April 2012.
