The European Commission has just this week launched three new calls within the People Programme:
FP7-PEOPLE-2012-IEF: Intra-European Fellowships for Career Development (IEF)
Budget: € 120 000 000
Deadline: 16 August 2012 at 17:00:00 (Brussels local time)
FP7-PEOPLE-2012-IOF: International Outgoing Fellowships for Career Development (IOF)
Budget: € 40 000 000
Deadline: 16 August 2012 at 17:00:00 (Brussels local time)
FP7-PEOPLE-2012-IIF: International Incoming Fellowships (IIF)
Budget: € 40 000 000
Deadline: 16 August 2012 at 17:00:00 (Brussels local time)
Marie Curie Actions provide funding opportunities for mobility and training at all stages of a researcher’s career, seek to promote research as a career and help create a market for researchers within the European Research Area (ERA). They are completely bottom-up and open to all areas of research eligible to apply. Marie Curie Fellowships last between 1-2 years and provide an attractive salary in addition to a relocation allowance, travel allowance, research expenses, and management costs for the host institution.
