UKRO recently contacted us to let us know that Chloë Somers, the new UKRO European Advisor for East Midlands universities, will be joining the office on 5th September. Chloë takes over from Amy Williams who left earlier this year.

UKRO continue to provide a very useful information and support service to UK universities on EC funding within the Framework Programme – and now Horizon 2020 – and beyond. They are also the UK National Contact Point for the ERC Starting and Advanced Investigator Grants and all of the Marie Curie schemes. In addition our European Advisor will visit the campus once per year. The last visit took place at the end of June and was well received by staff at the MHT Faculty Research Conference and during the one-to-one advice sessions.
