The Graduate School Conference 2011 takes place on 25th February in the EMMTEC building, Brayford Campus, Lincoln. The title is: Networking: making your academic network work.
Networking with colleagues is now a vital part of academic life. The conference is an opportunity for postgraduate students (research and taught) and academic staff to “design, develop and experiment with forms of connecting , in virtual and in real-time and real-space, in ways that will enhance the work that they are doing and their experience of being a postgraduate student at the University of Lincoln.”
Students can present their work in one of the three themed sessions in the morning: Energy, Community/Diversity, and Transitions. There will also be an opportunity to display poster presentations and to try out “speed networking” in the afternoon!
A live blog has been set up to give everyone who attends the chance to contribute to the discussion on the day. All staff and students can post updates to the live blog.
