I’ve just received this email from the ESRC regarding their annual Festival of Social Science:

The ESRC Festival of Social Science will not be taking place in its usual time of March 2011. We are reviewing the Festival, part of which includes the timing. Using the event organiser and attendee feedback gained through the evaluation forms, we are aiming to make the Festival not only a more efficient process for event holders but also to be held at the right time of year to draw in more attendees.

If you have any feedback or views about the Festival that you would like to share please email me with your ideas at festival@esrc.ac.uk. Comments would be gratefully received and all comments will be taken into consideration.

Thank you for your interest in the Festival so far, we will be in touch with a confirmed date for this year’s festival once the review has taken place.
