Are you a science or engineering undergraduate student interested in pursuing a research career? Have you thought about applying for a Nuffield Undergraduate Research Bursary?

The scheme is now open for applications for students in the following disciplines:

• Physical sciences
• Earth and environmental sciences
• Engineering
• Computing
• Mathematics
• Biology and biomedical sciences

Successful applicants will be paid a bursary of £180/week for 6-8 weeks in the summer vacation to carry out a research project under the guidance of an experienced supervisor. Postdoctoral researchers and new lecturers are also encouraged to apply.
