Over on the Lincoln Academic Commons blog, Joss Winn has posted about a number of training events geared towards helping raise awareness of the institutional repository:
Monthly training sessions have been scheduled to raise awareness of the institutional repository among the University’s research and teaching communities.
Each session aims to show how the institutional repository can be used to increase a researcher’s profile and contribute to using research to enhance teaching.
It is hoped that by the end of the session attendees will be able to:
- deposit a document, or multimedia object into the repository
- write appropriate metadata to help search engines find their work
- make informed decisions about the ways to license their work
For all available training dates please view the Staff Learning & Development portal site.
