If you have an interest in EC funding for social sciences and humanities research, I’d strongly encourage you to attend the following event:
Title: Turning to the future: a new approach for EU socio-economic and humanities research until 2013
Location: Charlemagne Building, Brussels
More details: Click here
Date: 5th June 2009, 9am – 3pm
Description: The aim of this conference is to inform the European Research Community about the new approach which the 7th Framework Programme will now take as regards Socio-Economic Sciences and Humanities Research. The event is an important step in preparing stakeholders for changes to the Socio-Economic and Humanities (SSH) Work Programme, the 2010 edition of which will be published and open for proposals at the end of July 2009.
Participation in the conference is subject to registration. Unfortunately the European Commission will not be able to reimburse delegates’ travel and accommodation costs. Due to the limited capacity of the meeting room, registrations will be accepted on a “first come-first served” basis.
For those who can’t attend, there will be live web-streaming of all sessions on the Commission’s website.
